जब तुम मेरे पास होते हो...

तन्हाई से जाना है मैंने,

तुम्हारे होने का मतलब क्या है...

खुद में पूरी तो थी मैं पहले भी,

पर मेरे अस्तित्व में ये आयाम नहीं था...

तुम होते हो जब पास मेरे तो दिल में एक सुकून होता है,

कुछ सोचना नहीं, न समझना होता है,

बस जीना होता है 'हमारे' वक़्त को

मैं सही मायनों में ज़िंदा होती हूँ, जब तुम होते हो...

तुम होते हो जब पास मेरे, तो धूप और छाव सब सुहानी लगती है,

हाथ थाम चल दूँ तुम्हारा दूर कहीं, ये चाहत होती है

हर दिन मोहब्बत नया रंग ओढ़ लेती है,

और गहरी होती चलती है,

जब तुम होते हो...

बेफिक्र मैं, बिन नक़ाब, खुद को तुम्हारी आँखों में देख पाती हूँ,

और जान भी जाती हूँ प्यार तुम्हारा,

तुम मुझे मुझ जैसा ही चाहते हो,

कैसे कहूँ तुम मेरे लिए क्या हो?

बस समझ जाना खुद ही,

जैसे समझ जाते हो, मेरे दिल की हर एक बात, हर  बार,

जब तुम मेरे पास होते हो...

Silence is Comfortable...

I don’t know why our paths crossed,

If there’s a reason or it happened because it had to, just like that.

I don’t know the reason why we are together in this frame of time…

Time, as they say, is an illusion, and this might also be…

I don’t know what holds us back and what takes us forward in the journey,

That may be a part of the discovery.

There are several things unknown,

But this one is certain for sure…

With you, time flies as if moments have captured ages,

And the ‘unknown’ only fears to bother…

There’s a certain melody in the heart, when we are together…

And silence is comfortable…

To a dearest friend who truly truly cares…..

How time flies…

I stood there, stunned, and you flew away…

I wish I could stop you, I wish I could tell you…How much you matter to me…

Your love and honest care, will remain a blessing to me,

Where else will I ever find, a friend with this great jolly spree?

In a place of despair and solitude, you were the one waiting for me,

I never did a single favor expected, and you were always there when you were needed to be.

In retrospect I find, I have always been selfish and unkind,

But you stood tall, through the midst of all,

To protect me from darkness,

 And guide me towards light.

When I think, I realize,

I have been so unthoughtful,

So ungrateful,

How could I take for granted, the blessing God has sent for me!!

You even played a parent’s role, and scolded and nurtured me,

In this place of emptiness, you filled my days with glee,

How I wish you were here, and I could hold you tight and never let you go,

How I wish I could always stay for you, in times of joy and sorrow.

You always truly cared,

I think I never ever did.

Through the questions and the answers,

The chocolates and the medicines,

Tears and laughter,

People and life,

Decisions and judgments,

Punishments and rewards,

Confusions and solutions,

Guidance and freedom,

Commands and evaluations,

The words and the silence,

My anger and your peace,

I am going to miss that all, when we depart forever,

How I wish I could stop time and never ever let this go,

How I wish we could live our friendship, for all the coming ages as ago,

I don’t know what is meant by life, but I now know what life is for,

It is to live your days in joy, it is to love one another,

To spread happiness, like you do,

And to make friends who make life blissful,

It is to enjoy through the rain and storms,

And gets easier with people like you strong

Whenever you feel you are low,

Or are in the midst of a trouble and don’t find glow

Remember me…

Scold me if I don’t turn up…you have every right to

But keep this faith, I am there and will be there for you, no matter what,

Through the thick and thin,

Although I make mistakes, I am ready to correct them…

Although not visibly so, trust me I am there every single time...

And I understand your pain and emotions that follow,

And you are truly cherished, trust me on that…

And you are a blessing my friend, you are an angel to me…
